Our gospel campaigns also called festivals are a public celebration of Christ and what He has done for all people. The gospel is proclaimed boldly and powerfully in outdoor rallies with the accompanying of sign, wonders and miracles. There have been notable miracle healings that took place in every gospel festival we have done so far including the deaf hearing again, blind eyes being opened, the lame walking again, tumors disappearing, the demonized being set free and many more kinds of miracles. These campaigns that usually run for three or four nights in a row are organized with the help of local governments and local Churches. Below are some praise reports from previous campaigns.
Please join me in giving God a big shout of praise for what He just did for the people of Borneo. This was the first ever outdoor Christian event in the area and the response of the local people was very enthusiastic! We witnessed over a hundred recorded miracles during the three nights event.
Our trip to North Maluku started with two flights followed by a boat ride and a four hour drive. We had to break our trip into three days so we will not be exhausted by the time we arrive there. While in Ternate island we ministered in a Sunday Church service. This is one of the few Churches still left standing after the religious conflicts in early 2000s. Most of the Christians fled the island when the killings started.
The three nights in Timor were a great victory for the gospel. Thousands were in attendance. Local government leaders were present too. The police were there protecting us. As we shared the simple message of God’s love for the people of Timor, many people repented and believed in Jesus.
Esther and I are rejoicing about all that the Lord did during the West Timor Jesus festival. Even though, we were on the brink of disaster, the Lord came through and we had a victorious campaign.
We had a powerful festival and seminar in Karo, Indonesia. Thousands come to hear the good news of God’s love and grace in Christ. Many notable miracles took place during the three nights and many souls came into the Kingdom of God. A girl who has not been able to walk started walking and jumping on the festival stage.
By the grace of God, we made history again in Sampit, Borneo. ‘Nothing like this has ever been done here before!’ exclaimed brother Khandar who was the chairman of the organizing committee for Sampit festival and seminar. ‘Not only did they give us an open field, they gave us two fields to choose from.’
The Jesus festival and seminar in Tebing Tinggi, Indonesia was a glorious victory for the Kingdom of God. For three consecutive nights, the gospel was declared with boldness as thousands came to hear and receive salvation. Every night we witnessed several miracles
Thousands of people attended the Jesus festival in Medan Sunggal. There were reports of many salvations, physical healings and deliverances from demonic spirits. We handed out over 2000 pieces of follow up material. The closing night was a wild one.
God did many wonderful things for the people of Tanjung Balai in North Sumatra. There are three big tribes living there. The Malayu, the Chinese & the Batak. This festival was not only about harvesting but it felt like we were plowing the ground at the same time.
The Jesus festival in Aceh was a huge success. Esther and I are still reliving it in our minds. It was truly amazing to see the Holy Spirit touch Christians and non-Christians alike and draw them to Jesus. Many miracles took place every night as we prayed in the name of Jesus. Without the laying on of hands people got healed on the field.
The Jesus festival in Sibolga, Indonesia had a big impact in the city and the local Churches. Many souls were ushered into the Kingdom of God. There were so many miracle stories from the four nights of the festival that it would not be enough to list them all in this report. Here are a few highlights from the week of the festival.
There was a mighty outpouring of God’s love and grace was demonstrated in signs, wonders and miracles during the gospel festival in Pati, Central Java. Many received healing in their bodies and during our last night, thousands lifted up their hands and prayed to invite Jesus into their hearts. Hallelujah!
Thousands of young people were impacted as we presented the Gospel through a powerful drama and drawing competition. The drama illustrated the gospel story from the fall of Adam to the coming of Christ using music, video, lights, props and fireworks.
